Salah attacks UEFA: "Tell us how, where, and why Suleiman al-Obeid died."

Liverpool 's Egyptian star Momo Salah has taken a harsh stance against UEFA . The reason? The European football governing body's social media tribute to Suleiman Obeid , known as the "Palestinian Pelé," which the European federation described simply as "a talent who gave hope to so many children in the darkest moments," without, however, mentioning the circumstances of his death.
Salah's postAccording to the Palestinian Football Federation, Obeid, 41, was killed on Wednesday in an Israeli attack while queuing to receive humanitarian aid in the southern Gaza Strip. "Can you tell us how he died, where, and why?" Salah wrote on 'X'. In October 2023, the former Fiorentina and Roma player had called for humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza, calling for an end to the "massacres" in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Suleiman al-Obeid earned 24 caps for the Palestinian national team and scored over 100 goals during his long career. He was 41 years old and the father of five children. According to the Palestine Football Association, 321 members of the association, including players, coaches, referees, and officials, lost their lives in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
